Services

Where sound matters

We design great sounding systems and provide innovative solutions for clients. Derby County football club is quite simply the best sounding stadium in Europe and the only one to comply to the letter of FIFA requirements. Our consultancy helped the award-winning Amsterdam Arena overcome challenging issues with life safety compliance whilst maintaining concert level performance. Lord’s Cricket Ground is the only ground in the world that doesn’t require temporary systems to supplement T20 matches. Whilst we have done many stadiums and worked in pivotal roles on projects such as the Olympic games, we also work hard on retail and corporate environments - anywhere where high quality sound is needed.

Where life safety matters

We are experts on worldwide voice alarm standards and the only independent consultants to sit on the European Committee for EN 54 and the corresponding UK committee. We chair the committee for Sound Systems at Sports Grounds. Whereas some people just populate documents with names of standards, we produce detailed and accurate compliance documentation that gives you the reassurance and legal protection you need when designing and installing a life-safety system. Our knowledge of this complex subject is unparalleled.

Networked audio

We’ve been using networked audio for 20 years. As well as being early adopters ourselves, we’ve led the industry in researching the adoption and use of audio networking technology. Our 2015 white paper on the subject is one of the most widely read publications in the audio industry. It has become the starting point for knowledge on the subject. We have experience using Dante, RAVENNA, Q-Lan, BLU link, AES67 and many other industry protocols and are the only organisation to carry out independent testing of AES67 compliant products. We have first class expertise in the design of networked audio systems using these technologies.

Where products matter

We help develop next generation audio products. As experts in digital audio networking we frequently advise companies on how to implement networking into their products. We understand product management, user interfaces and the changing economic model as audio merges with IT. Talk to us about your next product ideas and the insight we can give you.

Expert Witness

We’ve acted as expert witness in a number of disputes concerning the world of professional audio. We’ve advised on patent related issues, audio system design and the legalities of voice alarm systems.
